Unlike alcohol, which evaporates in seconds, the active ingredient in HandPower Cleaner Hand Sanitizer (benzalkonium chloride), which lingers on the skin and retains residual killing power hours after use as a hand sanitizer – this residual germ killing power was tested and documented in a peer-reviewed study published in a prestigious medical journal.
Non alcohol hand sanitizer is less drying to the skin, and a small amount of glycerin is included in our formula as a moisturizer and emulsifier.
